This policy explains how SLVEX LLC ("SLVEX", "we", "us") handles information collected through slvex.com and through our text messaging program. By using this site or contacting us, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and to run this site:
- Details you submit in our forms, such as your name, email address, company, job title, phone number, and what you tell us about your project, goals, budget and markets.
- If you sign up for text updates: your name, mobile number, and a record of your consent (the date and time, the page you used, your IP address and the consent wording you agreed to).
- Technical information sent by your browser, such as IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit, which we use to keep the site secure and working.
- A cookie that remembers your language choice (English or Spanish). If we enable analytics, Google Analytics may also set cookies to measure how the site is used.
How we use information
- To reply to your enquiry and provide the services you ask for.
- To send you the text messages you agreed to receive, as described below.
- To operate, secure and improve this site, including preventing spam and abuse.
- To understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site.
Text messaging (SMS)
When a client gives SLVEX a mobile number and agrees to be contacted by text, SLVEX may send that client one-to-one messages about their own work with us: updates, approvals, scheduling, and replies to questions they send. No mobile information or phone numbers are shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers are used only to send these service messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, excluding the messaging providers and carriers that deliver the messages on our behalf. You can also sign up at slvex.com/text-updates or ask us to stop texting you at any time by emailing info@slvex.com.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting, email delivery, analytics and SMS delivery, and only so they can perform those services for us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights, users or the public.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and client information for as long as we need it to work with you and to meet legal and accounting obligations. We keep text messaging consent and opt-out records so we can prove consent and honour opt-outs.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any SLVEX text message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help.
- Email info@slvex.com to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected or deleted.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
This site and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
International visitors
SLVEX works with clients in the United States, Latin America, Europe and Southeast Asia. Information you send us may be processed in the United States and in the countries where our team works.
